With one swift motion, you knock that smug, self important TRUSTY HAT of yours (which you love), onto the cold unforgiving carpet. In your bestial stupor, you forget that this is your training hat, used to simulate high gravity situations. The hat is how you became so JUSTLY STRONG with months of rigorous training.
Rather than fluttering to the ground as most TRUSTY HATS do, it meets the ground with a THUD. It hits the carpet so hard, it puts cracks in it. The landlord is NOT going to be happy with you.
